INTRODUCTION

The Brevard Indian River Lagoon Coalition, Inc. (the “Company”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information that you share with us while browsing the website located at https://www.helpthelagoon.org/ (the "Site"). Thus, we have prepared this policy, which governs data collection and usage for the Site, to inform you of the guidelines that we follow to ensure that the information you choose to share with us is private and safeguarded. TRACKING USER BEHAVIOR

The Company may keep track of the web pages our users visit within the Site, in order to determine which of the Company’s web pages are the most popular. This data is used to provide more website content on topics most popular with our users.

Technical Information

IP ADDRESSES

Computers, which browse the Internet, are given an IP Address that identifies them throughout their browsing session. When you browse our Site, our servers log an entry for each page you visit with your IP Address. Information about your computer hardware and software may automatically be collected by the Site. This information can include: your IP Address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. We use this information to gather anonymous information about which pages of our site are most popular, most frequently visited, for operation of the Site, to maintain quality of the Site, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Site, etc. However, we do not use this information to attempt to gather any personal information about our visitors.

COOKIES

This Site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”).  Google Analytics uses cookies to help the Site analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Site (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on Google servers.
