SUMMARY:Hook Kids On Fishing-Palm Bay
DESCRIPTION:Hook Kids On Fishing   \nIn partnership with the City of Palm Bay Rec Department\, Anglers for Conservation (AFC) is coordinating AFC’’s Hook Kids on Fishing program on Saturday\, March 31st from 9-11am. The FREE Hook Kids on Fishing program will take place at: \nCaptains House\n1300 Bianca Dr. NE\nPalm Bay\, Fl \nKids ages 6 to 16\, are welcome along with their parents. The first 80 kids registered may receive a free rod and reel. Registration is mandatory by visiting the Tony Roma Community Center(old Palm Bay Community Center) at 1502 Port Malabar Blvd and fill out a waiver; e-mail Al Majoy at majoya@pbfl.org or call Tony Rosa Community Center at 321-952-3443. \nThese conservation-minded Hook Kids on Fishing programs teach casting\, fishing safety\, knot tying\, the tackle box\, catch and release tactics\, fishing habitat and conservation; and are taught by professional guides and knowledgeable anglers. Parents and kids bring your smiles\, positive attitudes and patience along with you!  \nParent or guardian must accompany attendees. \nAdditional community sponsors include the Anglers for Conservation\, Fish Florida Foundation\, Coastal Angler Magazine and Aylesworth’s Fish & Bait. \nThe Hook Kids on Fishing program is a product of the Anglers for Conservation\, a non-profit-501-C3\, whose mission is to inspire new generations of marine stewards through education\, conservation\, and community outreach.  \nVolunteers are needed and donations are greatly appreciated.\nIf you’re interested in volunteering for\, or sponsoring this event\, please contact Mike Conneen at mike@anglersforconservation.org or visit the website\, http://www.anglersforconservation.org
