Be Green and Lean with us on KBB’s 37th Annual Trash Bash Saturday April 7 for our Karma Yoga at 7:30 AM and the KBB Beach Clean-Up 8 AM-12 PM to Spring into action for Earth Day full of good deeds for Mother Earth and fitness for you to put a Spring in Your step and Sunshine in your Soul! \nSCHEDULE OF EVENTS:\n7:06 AM SUN RISE\n7:30 AM HOTY BEACH YOGA (Standing Series/No Mat needed)\n7:51 AM LOW TIDE\n8-9 AM HOTY BEACH CLEAN-UP (Earn 2 Stars for Challenge)\nKBB TRASH BASH April 7th\, 8am-noon (Earn 4 Stars for Challenge) \nHOTY Karma Yoga & KBB Trash Bash are held on our Adopted Shore we’ve sponsored over 15 years It’s more than ever time to “Live More Green and Live More Lean” with Suzanne & Joe Elliott\, Founders and Directors from HOTY on the Island\, as we approach Earth Day this month.  \nWe will be hosting a mini-Yoga session to warm-up (bring your own beach straw mat if you’d like but a Mat is not necessary). We will be doing Standing Yoga poses only\, known to warm-up the body and as a way to Take A Stand for our Earth this month together. Earn good karma for our Mother and the beach and help KBB with the Beach clean-up. It will be very Therapeutic to practice our Healing\, Original\, Therapeutic YOGA inhaling the salty air from the sea as we watch the Sun Rise to help us Seize the Day! SEAS the Day! Feel the Rays! See the SEA! Smell the Salt! Hear the Waves! Touch the Earth! Experience SEA\, SAND\, SURF\, SPACE! \nYoga starts at 7:30am\, come before 7:06am to watch the Sunrise at that time. As we do Yoga we will have plenty of flat sand space as around 7:51am the Low tide is going out! Participants should bring water and sunscreen.  \nKBB will provide grabbers\, buckets\, latex gloves\, and trash bags. KBB will continue a Beach Clean-up 8am-12pm.  \nThe HOTY TEAM be leading Standing Yoga poses to warm-up for the clean-up after. This fitness activity will count toward those of you participating in the county’s Mayors’ Fitness Challenge as well as earn TWO STARS for the 30 Day Challengers this month 7-9 AM or  FOUR STARS for the KBB Trash Bash 8 AM-12 PM! \nOn our Adopted Shoreline at Cherie Down Park\, Cape Canaveral

DESCRIPTION:Hook Kids On Fishing   \nIn partnership with the City of Satellite Beach\, Anglers for Conservation (AFC) is coordinating AFC’s Hook Kids on Fishing program on Saturday\, April 7th from 9am-11am. The Hook Kids on Fishing program will take place at: \nSatellite Beach Sports Park\n751 Jamaica Blvd.\nSatellite Beach\, Fl. 32937 \nKids ages 6 to 16\, are welcome along with their parents. The first 80 kids registered may receive a free rod and reel. Registration is required by emailing nlaroche@satellitebeach.org or called 321-773-6458. \nThese conservation-minded Hook Kids on Fishing programs teach casting\, fishing safety\, knot tying\, the tackle box\, catch and release tactics\, fishing habitat and conservation; and are taught by professional guides and knowledgeable anglers. DESCRIPTION:Looking for a fun way to give back to the Lagoon and get your hands dirty?  Come join the MRC Mangrove Team!   \nThis is a volunteer team that meets on the first Saturday of each month at 9:30am.  The team works to maintain and grow the thousands of mangroves housed at the MRC Greenhouse.  The team typically meets down at the MRC Greenhouse located in Vero Beach\, FL.  If you would like to caravan with MRC staff\, please meet at the Lagoon House (3275 Dixie Hwy. NE\, Palm Bay\, FL 32905) no later than 8:30am. \nPlease be aware that participation involves working in some standing water and lots of dirt. We will put out MRC signs along 86th Ave to indicate you are on the right track.
