DESCRIPTION:Nationally the environmental standards that have protected us for over 40 years are under attack\, including those providing us with clean air\, clean water\, safe homes and more. Even the Endangered Species Act could be gutted! \nThe president\, our governor and many politicians continue to deny the truth of climate change induced by human industry. Plastics swirl in our oceans worldwide while Florida faces toxic algae. The good news is that environmental issues may be addressed locally while we wait for the national and state priorities to change. \nPlease join us Thursday\, September 6th\, at 6:30 p.m. for a powerful examination of the environmental damage that has already been done — and recovery efforts underway — for our Indian River Lagoon\, our beautiful Florida\, our nation and our planet. We will also discuss plastics\, sustainability and get an update on global warming.
