DESCRIPTION:Online Registration Required.  Once registered will automatically receive email with Zoom details for signing into online presentation. \nIf you do not receive the confirmation email with the zoom link within minutes of registering\, please check your spam/junk folder.  Some email accounts if membership@seaturtlespacecoast is not in your contacts it will go directly to spam. \nTurtle Talk 101 presentations are free and open to the public. The slide presentation is an introduction to sea turtles and includes a basic overview of the sea turtle species with concentration on species that commonly nest on the Brevard County beaches. The presentation also examines the causes of sea turtle population declines and the ongoing laws in effect to protect and prevent them from becoming extinct. Free information brochures will be available for attendees before and after the slide presentation\, as well as some sea turtle props on display for viewing. \nThe Turtle Talk 101 presentation will begin promptly at 10:00am and will last about an hour and a half with questions.  \nFor questions\, contact education@seaturtlespacecoast.org

SUMMARY:Sea Turtle Preservation Society Volunteer Orientation
DESCRIPTION:Volunteer Orientation is for current STPS members who would like to become a volunteer\, already submitted a volunteer application\, and the volunteer application has been approved by the STPS Volunteer Coordinator. \nSTPS members MUST register on-line to participate in this presentation!! \n\nRegistration links will not be provided in the STPS calendar\, but the dates and time will.  Once active membership is confirmed and a volunteer application is approved an email will be sent with the Volunteer Orientation registration links.  Click on the date in the email you wish to attend and register on-line.  Once registration is complete an email will automatically be sent with the links to attend. \nIf you are not receiving emails from us please check junk/spam folder it may be in there. \nVolunteer requirements are: \n  \n\nActive Membership\nhttps://seaturtlespacecoast.org/membership/become-a-member/\n\n\nSubmit a volunteer application\nhttps://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=2032564183 \nTake Turtle Talk 101 at least once (see calendar for registration) \n\n\nTake Volunteer Orientation (registration links will be sent when volunteer application is approved) \n\n  \n\n\nVolunteer Orientation will provide information about Sea Turtle Preservation \n\nSociety\, our mission\, programs\, and permitted activities.
