DESCRIPTION:This Shoreline Planting event is open to the general public – registration is required for all volunteers. \nHelp us restore native marsh grasses and mangroves in Melbourne Beach! \nPlease wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy! The labor-intensity of this event is low to moderate but it will be warm and sunny with plenty of lifting and bending. Be sure to prepare for full sun exposure for a few hours. The Zoo will provide snacks\, a water cooler (bring a reusable bottle!)\, and sunscreen. \nTime: AM 8:00 AM-12:00 PM \nPM 12:30 PM-4:00 PM \nAll other necessary information will be provided in a follow-up e-mail that will be sent out closer to the registration date.
