The Brevard Indian River Lagoon Coalition (BIRLC) is a 503(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to educating our community about our precious resource—the Indian River Lagoon. The information on this website can help every individual to find a way to help the Lagoon—discover some place to begin.

FACT:  71% of the AREA of the Indian River Lagoon, and NEARLY HALF its length, lies within Brevard County.

 

FACT:   Recognized as one of the most biologically diverse estuaries in the world, it connects Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin counties.
