SUMMARY:Learn to Build a Self-Watering Planter
DESCRIPTION:Come and learn how to build a self-watering planter! \n\n\n\n\nCurious about self-watering planters? \nJoin Master Gardener Jeff Miller for this live demo at 12:15 PM in the UF/IFAS Auditorium during the April 25th Spring Fling! You’ll learn how to build a simple self-watering planter using two 5-gallon buckets. This clever container gardening method creates a small water reservoir beneath the soil that allows plants to draw moisture as they need it. The result: consistent soil moisture\, stronger root growth\, and less frequent watering—perfect for vegetables\, herbs\, and small-space gardening. \nRegister for this event so that we reserve your seat! \n\n\n\n\nNOTE: Classes and events may be canceled at any time due to low registration or other circumstances\, with full refunds issued for paid events. Similar classes or events are often offered on future dates. \nThe University of Florida is committed to providing universal access to all of our events.
