For Earth Day, help clean this important sea turtle nesting beach! Option to participate in a scavenger hunt as well. Kids’ participation prizes are available. You may also choose to become a citizen scientist and record your beach trash finds for Ocean Conservancy’s database. Cleanup supplies will be provided if needed, you may want to bring your own grabber. Please be sure to bring your own water, sunscreen, bug spray, hat, etc. Checkin in at the Barrier Island Center lobby. Our staff will be wearing masks, participants are strongly encouraged to as well and to practice social distance.
