Mangrove Anchor and Oyster Volcano Workshops at MRC

Learn to make mangrove anchors and oyster volcanoes with MRC! These concrete and jute structures will be deployed around the Indian River Lagoon to increase survivability of young mangroves, restore critical shoreline habitat, and recruit oyster spat.

Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting concrete on, and don’t forget your reusable water bottle!
