Sustainability Workshop “Isn’t It Swale”

This Workshop is part of the City’s Sustainability Action Plan’s Green Achievement Target #7 (Public Workshops). “Isn’t It Swale” is the first workshop as part of a series of workshops designed for community outreach & sustainability information.The “Isn’t It Swale” workshop will take an in-depth look at bioswales and the “Desoto Parkway Drainage Basin Stormwater Enhancement Project”, as an example of bioswales and how they benefit the community. This workshop will also talk about the overall concept of the workshop series and the Sustainability Action Plan. Additional topics that will be discussed are other projects and volunteer opportunities in 2018
