The Brevard County Natural Resources Management is seeking licensed plumbing contractors to offer services including connections to sewer, septic system abandonment, and repairs of private sewer laterals for projects listed in The Save Our Indian River Lagoon (SOIRL) Project Plan.
These projects are located near Brevard County within the watershed of the Indian River Lagoon and Banana River Lagoon.
Qualified Plumbers will be prequalified and offered periodic opportunities to perform plumbing work for various projects listed in the SOIRL Project Plan.
The projects include, but are not limited to, connecting approximately 5,517 properties to new sewer mains, approximately 876 connections to existing sewer mains, and repairs to broken sewer laterals to be found by smoke testing almost 50,000 homes in 2021.
Jobs range from simple clean-out repairs to more complex force main connections, so all licensed plumbers are encouraged to apply.
