Development Council approves grants to help the Indian River Lagoon

Eight projects designed to help the Indian River Lagoon will receive grants through a new Space Coast Office of Tourism program, under a plan approved this week. The grants will be funded by Brevard County’s 5 percent Tourist Development Tax on hotel rooms and other short-term rentals.
