The First Friday Litter Sweep is a monthly volunteer cleanup at the Marine Resources Council’s Ted Moorhead Lagoon House in Palm Bay, where participants remove trash from nearby highways, trails, and lagoon‑side areas.

What volunteers do
Pick up litter along the Lagoon House property line on US‑1, on‑site walking trails, and around the stormwater pond
Occasional shoreline or pond cleanups when needed and announced in advance
Support MRC’s broader mission as “litter picker uppers” and environmental stewards
