Monday, March 22-Wednesday, March 24, 2027 • 9 AM-4 PM
Get outdoors this summer and spend 3 days exploring three unique Florida ecosystems!
The Florida Youth Naturalist Program (FYNP) is a new program for young nature enthusiasts interested in learning more about Florida’s environment. Inspired by the Florida Master Naturalist program, this youth program takes kids aged 10 to 13 on a journey through Florida’s ecosystems, from the uplands, through freshwater, and to the coast.
We will be exploring Florida’s wide variety of ecosystems through hands-on activities. This camp is perfect for kids who enjoy being outdoors and are interested in learning about our local ecosystems.
Camp activites include:
- Guided nature walks through trails
- Bird watching tours
- Seining in the Indian River Lagoon
- Nature-based games, crafts, and activities
