The Brevard Indian River Lagoon Coalition is hosting sign waving rallies at intersections across Brevard County.
We will have volunteers on the sidewalks at a key intersection waving from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM on the selected dates,
followed by a social gathering.
- A BIRLC representative will bring the signs and holders to the location. Volunteers should arrive early to pick up a sign.
- Volunteers are encouraged to wear Lagoon t-shirts if possible.
- You may wish to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent and rain jacket or umbrella.
- If rain is forecast or threatening, the start time may be changed to avoid the showers.
Helping people learn about the value of the SOIRL Program starts with building awareness among the voters. Here are the early waving dates. Keep watching as we add more opportunities to show your support for our Lagoon:
Mon. July 20 | Brevard Zoo Entrance | Wickham Road & Murrell Road
Fri. July 24 | Cocoa | US-1 & SR-520
Mon. Aug. 3| Indian Harbour Beach | Jimmy Buffett Highway
& Eau Gallie Blvd
Fri. Aug. 7 | Indialantic | Riverside & US 192
Who can be part of the solution? You. Please rally for the Lagoon.
