An Introduction

This is an introductory video on scientific integrity and a recording of a training workshop on scientific integrity at U.S. EPA. EPA’s ability to protect human health and the environment depends upon the integrity of the science on which it relies. From the earliest formation of a scientific question to the use of results in decision-making and public communications — scientific integrity creates protections for science from inappropriate interference. These protections ensure that EPA decisions are informed by the best science possible. In this video, EPA’s Scientific Integrity Official provides background information on scientific integrity, shows a whiteboard video on the subject, and answers questions about scientific integrity at EPA.  Click here for the video
