Seagrass – Ready For A Comeback?

GOOD NEWS: SEAGRASS STARTING TO SPREAD IN THE LAGOON!

St Johns River Water Management District reported this week, “Data collected in the summer of 2023 revealed an increase in seagrass extent since 2021…”

The graph green bars show, after years of decline, an increase of 2400 Hectares (6000 Acres) over the past 2 years. The photo of the rich carpet of seagrass in Mosquito is from last summer.
