Florida environmental officials warn Titusville about December raw sewage spill

The city of Titusville leaked 100,000 gallons of raw sewage into a pond at Sand Point Park that flows right into Indian River Lagoon.  The issue was with a leak in a sanitary sewer main located 15 feet below the surface of a stormwater pond.  This incident occurred approximately two weeks ago and the city could be liable for thousands of dollars in state penalities.  To read the entire article, click here.
